Community funding is driving an increase in renewable energy projects across Australia and the trend is set to continue in 2019, with Australian Heritage Specialists at the forefront of programs including wind and solar farm developments.

Statistics show 2017 was the most productive year to-date for the renewable energy industry and 2018 is tipped to set new records, with the popularity of community funded projects yet to diminish.

As the industry builds to meet Australia’s 2020 renewable energies target, increased investment is forecast for the future.

In Queensland, Gladstone is proving to be a hot spot for solar and wind farm projects, with Kingaroy, Emerald, the Darling Downs and Central Queensland following closely behind.
