Benjamin and Linda Gall attend Australian Institute of Architects FNQ Awards
What better way to celebrate the first anniversary of our Cairns office than by attending an awards ceremony in the city with many of our longstanding FNQ-based clients and colleagues!
AHS Directors Benjamin and Linda Gall enjoyed an evening at the Australian Institute of Architects Far North Queensland Regional Awards during their recent working visit to Cairns.
The prestigious event was held at Wharf One, Cairns Wharf Precinct which is only a few minutes’ walk from the AHS Cairns office at The Pier Cairns, 1 Pierpoint Road.

Benjamin Gall has been the appointed heritage specialist for the Cairns Wharf Precinct for two decades, so it is a site with which he is extremely familiar!
The Cairns Wharf Complex is the most awarded site for heritage conservation and adaptive re-use principles for any place in Queensland this century.
Benjamin and Linda were proud to return to the venue which holds great significance for them and the entire AHS team.
The event was also a wonderful opportunity to connect with many friends and colleagues they have worked with over the years.
AHS congratulates the Australian Institute of Architects, particularly its judges and organisers, for hosting a fantastic event which was a fitting showcase for the architectural projects recently completed in FNQ.
Well done to all the award winners which included TPG Architects, Clarke And Prince Architects and CA Architects, all of which AHS have assisted with heritage matters for many years.
Our permanent team in Cairns is busier than ever working on a wide range of projects for businesses and councils across FNQ. In the past four years alone, AHS has completed well in excess of 50 projects stretching from Townsville to Thursday Island.
